What would be better for Ls/Vtec?
I was just thinking this and its boggling my mind. Would a B16 head with Skunk2 intake manifold be better then a b18c1 Head with Skunk2 intake manifold. Or is it the other way around, i would think that a b18c1 head with Skunk2 would be better. And also...How much better is an Integra Type-R throttle body then a stock B16 or b18c1? Becuase if i did this my way i would port the Integra type-r throttle body with the b18c1 head and skunk2 intake manifold...Please help me out here thanks

price wise the B16 is the better deal. But hp wise the B18C is better. One reason is because the B18 cams are better. If your going to do a cam swap then I would go with a B16. Skunk2 intake is also cheaper for a B16 than a B18. And an ITR intake will bolt right up to a B16 head.

Skunk 2 Manifold is a copy of the Type R Manifold for the B18C1.
The Bolt Holes are different.
With a B16a, you would use a Type R Manifold
On a B18C1, It would be the Skunk 2
Your Best Engine choice depends on what your looking for.
The B16a has high Rev Capabilities because of its 1.75:1 Rod\Stroke Ratio.
The Problem is it's small displacement
B16 Motors are Cheap though, anf you can basically interchance parts with a ITR.
(ITR Motors are basically B18C1 Blocks with B16A Heads on them)
Get what you want, gotta weight the Pros and Cons.
