A local is selling an LS with no tranny. I was thinking about buying it and I was wondering what trannies will work. Thanks.

Any b-series tranny will fit. I like the gsr tranny mated w/ the ls motor b/c of shorter gears than the ls, but longer than the b16/itr tranny.

This is true -- to a certain point. If you have a 92+ civic, then you will want to get a hydraulic tranny.
If you have 88-91, you will want a cable type tranny.

I have a 95 EX, so I was hoping that tranny would work, but I guess not. Thanks for the help.
