Default what to replace when swapping motors?

so far i have these things:

spark plugs and wires
rotor
timing belt
water pump
tensioner pulley for timing belt

these parts alone are going to cost quite a bit, anyone know if i even need to replace these things? i know timing belt and water pump for sure. anything else?

uhhh
I'm sure you know this, but just in case
Don't forget all the fluids and if the engine has ran in awhile. I'd put in 4qt of oil, run it 100 miles then change it again.

So far that list looks good, I would suggest (in addition):

Cap
Valve cover gasket
Oil pan gasket
Oil filter (duh)
vtec sel gasket
(and if you want...)
Oil pump
main seals
cam seals (all 3)
(depending on how old the motor is)
Just remeber that it is 10x easier to do witht the motor out.

peace

Can someone show me what cam seals are? are they the rubber gaskets that go inbetween the block and timing belt cover? http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net picture number?

Do the cam plugs they are very common leakers. Also reccomend a fuel filter all new vaccum lines and hoses. These are easy to do now and very good maitnance

Default Kind of off topic....

I will be getting my GSR swap next month. Most likely from hmotorsonline and the start-up guarantee says 2 different things. Here it is copy / paste from HMO:

Start up warranty is only valid on USED, JDM & USDM motors and is unconditional when changing the following engine components:- spark plugs, spark plug wires (leads), rotor, timing belt, water pump and tension pulley. All of the previously mentioned have to be changed on JDM & USDM motors to become legible for the 100% start-up warranty.

So, is the warranty good if you change out the plugs, wires, etc??? It's saying tw different things, WTF?

I was thinking it would be best just to get the motor in and running. Once I drive it and everything seems fine start with a tune-up, drain all the fluids, new timing belt, adjust the valves, and anything else I forgot that you guys mentioned.

If I change everything before the install and the motor does NOT start, then I will probably think it's something I did wrong.
