Default what computer for H22 in DC???

Hey, I am in the process of installing a JDM H22 into my '97 DC. I was curious what computer I would have to use. It is an OB2 engine. Will the stock H22 computer be fine for now, or will I need something else. Someone told me I should get a GSR computer. Any help would be great.

gsr ecu is the best way to go u just need modify for the vtec to kick in at 5500
or else u'll get VTEC LAG.

use the H22 ecu full time. why do you want to use a p72? it runs lean.

i got a dyno sheet somewhere of using a p72 on a h22 with a vafc to lower the vtec point and it gained like 6HP over the p13

don't run a GSR ECU unless you plan to remap it....it runs lean, has NO power until after vtec kicks in, and after that you gain like 5-6HP...WHOA at the vtec engagement, the GSR ecu falls flat on it's face....it's a freakin dog on the street.

h22 ecu full time.

EDIT: of course this has cams, but you get the general idea..unless you plan on doing something else with the ECU, do not run a stock GSR and think it's gonna be a god.

do not run a stock GSR
it really falls on it's face you got to either reprogram (vfac maybe) or do an obd1 conversion..

If you are planned to have it prgrammed by Hondata you want he GSR....other than that you should stick with the p13.

However, I'm testing a Chipped for H22 GS-R ECU right now and it's amazing!!

As for differences, point me to more info if you don't want to post it. I was under the impression the injectors were different but that was it (and the smaller displacemtn=less fuel)? but mine is chipped and runs rich...any onfo would be appreciated..

stick with the p13, the p72 has no bottom end and you will feel a lack in the tourque department. i have tried chipped p28 to and it lacks the low end also
