what causes high voltage codes?
i have 3 sensors throwing high voltage codes, but why would they be throwing those codes. does this mean that there is a loose ground somewhere? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

The voltage regulator in your alternator may be shot. It's a $15 part plus labor. Either that or your alternator is hooked up wrong.

but wouldn't that affect more than just 3 sensors? the 3 i have with high voltage are TPS, IAT, and ECT

Have you taken a digital voltmeter and tested the battery voltage when the car is running? It should be from 14.4-14.8v (rev it to around 2000rpms to test). If it's higher then I would say the reg is shot and thus all of your sensors are getting too much voltage...

How does the vehicle run? high voltage is interesting since the IAT and ECT are supplied voltage via the ECM. Anyway, I'm with the other guys, check the charging system voltage, as well as battery voltage with the engine off.
