Im puttin a d16y8 block and head into a 5th gen and got the vtec wiring taken care of with an rpm switch but what about the knock sensor that the d16y8 has (its a 2000 engine) how can I work around that. Anyone know? thanks

 

What computer are you using?

If it is a computer that uses the knock sensor... run 1 wire from the back of the knock sensor to that port on the ecu.

If the computer doesnt use the knock sensor... just leave the knock sensor in the hole & dont worry about it.

Im using an obd1 that doesnt have the knock sensor out on it. Thanks for the info
