Default VX Harness missing A17 wire..wtf?

Has anyone seen this before? I went to wire up my IAB secondaries and there was no wire available (Yes i made sure i held the harness downwards and counted the correct way)

Is the the picture of the harness or the ecu? I'm thinking harness?

Also, there is none for knock, but i kinda figured that there would be none, but my question is how do i get the wire to stay in place in the male connector? Where or how do i make those pins? hEEEEEEEEEEEELP

For wiring the VX O2 sensor fix..i'm still confused about a few things.

I read the posting up top..believe me. Do i use the O2 sensor from the lude..or do i use the one from the vx?

Do i cut off the plug from the accord harness and splice into the civic o2 sensor...some clear it up for me.

Quote from help Doc...
""""If you have a VX model Civic, if you USE a different engine harness than the factory VX harness (such as an EX/Si, or DX engine harness), you need to perform the VX O2 sensor fix.

You can do this by simply removing the ORG/BLU wire pin from the 4th VX plug (very much thanks to dwnthehatch for the picture):""""""

My harness comes with seven wires from the accord harness. I don't get it. The o2 from the vx has 5 wires (color) Accord 02 has 4 wires (3 whites/ 1 black)

What and ho do i get this to work.

welllll dahhhhhh you have to tap in to a17 and d3 to hhok up those sensors...... none of the obd1 civics ever came with knock or butterflys equiped engines....... just tap into them with pins from jund ecu clips you got laying around or go to the junk yard and clip some off and yes you use o2 from the prelude

You'll want to use the 4 wire O2 sensor.

For the knock sensor, and any other wire that is not in place of the pinout for the ECU or even the shock tower harness connectors, you'll want to salvage them from another connector (like a spare harness or plug), or even from the junkyard for the clean look.

You just remove 'em with a very small flat head screw driver, then you clip 'em right in together and it's just like stock.

Pinouts for the 4 wire O2 sensor is the same as the rest of 'em depending on what OBD you are (assuming you're OBD1).

HTH.
