vtec engagement?

Default vtec engagement?

is there any way to change the vtec engagement with out buying a vtec controller? Any one know what the engaugement point is on an h22? Thanks

Yea if you wanted to make it really nice i would just cut the wire goin to the VTEC solenoid, cut a section of wire and twist it to the VTEC solenoids wire then run it to a momentary SPST switch and find a nice 12vdc power source to run to the other side of the switch. That way ur VTEC can engage whenever you want. When the engines cold to when ur sitting at a stop. hehe j/k i don't think you wanna do this. Also i would just leave it stock when Honda designed that comp they made it to get you the best power and economy. Lowering or raising ur VTEC engagement point is really not goin to make that much of difference unless ur motor is built. Laterz
