Vtec and ecu question!

Default Vtec and ecu question!

I got a 0bd2 p72 for some odd reason, it kick in at 4500. Is it my ecu that causing it or my selenoid? i just wanted to know

vtec comes on at 4400 and IAB is around 5500 or so

yeah you won't feel the IAB since you have a B16a but still the vtec is like at 4400 on the gsr ecu. I would get a B16a ecu to match the motor or do something like a vtec fuel controller to correct it.

the ecu sends the signal to the vtec solenoid which turns the vtec on. make sense?

and b16's do not have IAB's. only b18's and h's.
