Stupid question of the day,I am running a 96 JDM GSR, My VSS went bad. After doing dome searching , I have heard that I can Use a 92+ D Series VSS as a Replacement, I would lIke to confirm if any one has ran that with no problems.

Question 2 (if I couldnt use the D series) would any B series VSS (say off a del sol/B16or one off B17 GSR) work for me? Is there any compatibility problems with mating USDM VSS to JDM trans? I have seen a thread were people weree able to use a b16 vss on a gsr, but it was not backwards compatable (No GSR on the b16)


I have seen a ton of thread's with contradicting reply's, I am seeking a definitive answer.
