The LS chassis can't handle the V-TEC that the stock Type-R generates... You'll need to stiffen the chassis with as many frame rails as possible. I'd recommend the Jasma Version 3.0 Frame Rails. Lightweight, made of Titanium/Francium alloy, and install in minutes with wood screws.

... The Hybrid section is what you want.

Truth....my ported C5 VTAC solenoid finally popped thru my hood last night while revving at a local meet. Fortunately it landed on an SRT-4 so no one cared. I've also noticed factory welds failing all over the place....can't even shut my trunk now. Wish I never built this infernal time ma... ITR motor.

Favorite movie series ever. I'd buy a Delorean (I almost did), but it takes too much money/work to get the damn things to move hardly.

LOL, definitely best movie series ever! I keep looking at Delorean's for sale now and then. Would be awesome to show up at Expo with one There's actually a used dealer in my area who always has 1-2 for sale. Usually around $15k.
Parts definitely aren't cheap, but there is an Eibach Pro Kit + shocks for them

I've found plenty for sale, but I doubt I'll ever buy one... Unless it already has a Renault TT V6 installed... I can't own any car that can't AT LEAST hit 14s. Stock DMC... You're lucky to hit 60MPH in a 1/4 mile.

The car would fit me PERFECTLY though, John Delorean designed it for taller drivers (Being 6'4"). I'm 6'6"+, so it's always a fun time trying to find a car that I can fit in, without installing an aftermarket driver's seat.

That seat's been in the last 4 Honduhs I've owned.

LOL, I find it funny how many TALL ITR owners there are I'm 5'10" and felt awfully short at Expo hahaha

Yeah, I don't think I'd track a Delorean much, straight lines or road course. I hear they're systems, especially the electrical are pretty fragile. I'd just like to have a clean stock one to call my own and put a few k miles a year on.
