Default Type R in 98 hatch question

I have a 98 civic hatch and im buying a 97 JDM R swap for it. Just wondering what parts i will need for the swap. Will the type r axles work or will i have to get others? I also hear that I will need an SI rear mount for it. Let me know what all i will need. Thanks

Yes the Type R axles will work. Use them. And yes you will need to get the 99-00 Si rear and drivers side mounts.

If your getting a OBD I motor, which i assume your not, you'll need a OBD II to I adapter harness.

If I were you I would get a 98 b18c. Keep with the year of the car.

You don't need the rear and drivers side mounts.

You need the rear and drivers side BRACKETS! Don't order the mounts!

Also, depending on what year of engine you get, you will probably be getting the 36mm axles. They do NOT fit our cars. You'll need to get US spec 94-01 Integra axles.

But I'd wait untill you get everything to make sure they don't send you the right ones. (32mm are right).
