Default Turbo LS Vtec?

Im thinking about possibly building an Ls/vtec and throwing a turbo on it as well. Im just trying to get some oponions about it. I know a simple ls/vtec build can be some what complicated. However, Im wondering if throwing a turbocharger on it will make it better or worse. Im def looking for the huge power gains but Im also looking for some sort of reliability as well. Im just wonering what you guys have to say about it. I plan on taking my time and using all the right parts and not half assin' the build. Lemme know what you think?

ive hear ls/vtec is very sensetive to forced induction and nitrous, but if you tune it rite it can be very reliable, just be careful if you decide to do it

Im getting some good feed back. If I did decide to build the turbo ls/vtec i was looking at throwin' a GSR head on it an using the stock cams and bui, lding the internals and the bottom end. I have just hear some horror stories about ls/vtecs thats why Im looking for peoples advice. But on the other hand I have also heard some unbelieveable stories as well. Im just wondering what others think.

the gsr head is good because the combustion chambers are smaller and i raises compression: to 9.75:1. with a turbo at 8.5 psi and a B16 transmission, trust me, it rips. trust me...

A friend of mine is doing this build right now. He had a T3 turbo on it and the motor blew the turbo, snapped the shaft. The head is fully ported and that was one of the reasons, the flow was too much for the small T3 so now he is upgrading to a T4. I'll keep you posted on the results.
