im just finishing up my ls/vtec project motor and wondering which OEM belt to go with. Its a GS-R head, but im using a p30 (b16a2) water pump. Do p30 water pumps have the same number teeth as p72 water pumps? basically, do i need a b16 timing belt or a b18c? Thanks in advance.

GS-R belt. 110% sure.

 

thanks. i needed for someone to have that extra 10% before i went ahead and bought the gsr belt.

Yep, the P30 and P72 have 22 teeth I believe. And you use the B18C (P72) timing belt.
