i have recently started to have a sticky throttle issue in the last couple of weeks. it doesnt do it all the time but enough to make it very anoying. it only does it after the car is warmed up never when cooled. what happens is when i push in the clutch the rpms will stick at around 2000-3000 rpms. if a brake and bog the car out a little before pushing in the clutch the needle will climb to the same 2000-3000 range. i have to either pull back the gas pedal with my foot or rev to eliminate the issue. i checked the throttle body for rust, bent or worn spring, and nothing is lose. like i said this is extremely anoying help is much appreciated.

 

lube the throttle cable
