Hello, i just dropped an usdm type r in a hatch, but i seem to be having a little bit of a problem. The car's idol is really messed up, and the installer didn’t support the throttle cable with a bracket. Sometimes, the idol sits near one, sometimes, it moves from 1.5 rpm to 1 and it repeats itself. And sometimes, the idol goes to low and it sounds like the engine is about to cutt off. Also, the car sputters a little when the engine is cold. Is it true that a DX throttle cable doesn’t work correctly with type r engine? Someone told me to buy an integra ls throttle cable.
What do you guys think?
