Default tech problem?????

i have an 86 civic hatch i just put a b16 in and i am having problems getting the choke to work. it makes a ringing/humming
noise that comes out of the intake manifold.the noise stops when i unhook the battery. also my radar detector goes crazy after 2500rpms. can anyone help.

I think that is a very good description, it sounds like he experirmented and narrowed it down.

I'm very interested in this swap, can you please tell us EVERYTHING about the wiring?

Sorry, what do you mean choke? Like on a carbed engine?

the choke when i first start the car it should idle at about 1800rpms instead it idles about 600 till it warms up. the wiring was a pain in the *** idont remember exactly what all we had to add but we have it wrote down somewhere. i would have to look.
