Which Swap should I do?
Alright well today I just picked up a riced out EG for $500 with a warped head. I'm looking to do a swap but I don't know what to go with. Whatever motor I choose I will eventually slap a turbo on it cause I build my own turbo kits so its not a problem. Now which is the best?
1. D16Z6. I already have this motor I can just throw it in and not spend a dime. The only shitty part is that it is just a D and HP especially boosted is limited. This probably won't happen but since I do have the motor it is an option.
2. the LS/Vtec cause LS bottom ends are a dime a dozen. This would also be a cheaper route than an H22 cause I don't need to buy mounts and I can build it without sleeving it cause it doesn't have gay FRM sleeves like the H22.
3. H22. This is what I'm leaning towards becuase my friend has the full H22 swap that I could pick up for about $1100. The thing I really don't like about the H22 is the price of the swap, terrible ringlands for boost and the FRM sleeves so I can't use aluminum pistons without sleeving. This is also a new swap for me that I never did before so I've been searcing for info. I'm worried about ground clearance of the pan. I searched and all I found was this: http://www.jdmshit.com/h22a-clearance/ but there's no oil pan pics. So if you have this swap can you please post this pic Is there any other negatives of this swap (don't say weight) besides the tight fit? Also do you think $1100 is good for a full H22 swap with 70,000 miles?
Well there's my options so let me know your input and opinions...

I think you mean CR/Vtec + boost = bad. The monolythic sleeves in the B20 blocks are real easy to crack. LS/Vtec's are real good for boost cause LS bottom can hold power but the heads can't flow. LS/Vtec's have been proven many times. Even with cams the LS heads suck. And also, you can use a combination of stock mounts for a B in an EG. I've done them a couple of times.
