SWAP question???
Hello everyone, I know this is a nooob question. It has probably been covered before but when I tried searching I was unable to get my questions answered. I come from a BMW back ground. I currently own a 1995 M3. Modding this car has gotten way to expensive. My goal is to build a hybrid Honda Hatch. Can I build a Honda/Acura swap with the plan on turboing and get at least 350whp on stock internals? If so, what car and engine should I be looking at? I prefer the 92-99 hatch look. Thanks in advance. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

yes, its possible, but I'm not sure its safe for the motor. How much boost is he running?

Why is it not safe internally? If the tuning is done right why would it be dangerous on stock internals? I don’t understand can you guys be more specific please. I know H22 on hatches are almost becoming to be more common than B series engines. What need to be done too Honda Acura engine to be deem safe? Sorry guys I know that I can get 450whp in my BMW on stock internals but the pricing for BMW parts is outrageous

Exactly. As long as its tuned right, you can safely make that much power on stock internals.

It's very possible that i might be venturing into the honda territorysooner that i expected. if i have a EG hatch for example with boost running ~300-350whp, what would be my expected 1/4 mile time. Do you guys think i could be running high 11'sto low 12's

I think he's talking about with the h22 swap only.
