i put a JDM b16 gen 2 in my 97 ek hatch, i installed OEM motor mounts straight from my honda dealership. i have a gsr shifter on a b16 shift linkage. My 1, 3, 5 gear are really far forward and my 2, 4, R look like there in neutral? I donno whats up!!! HELP!!

 

did u switch out the driver side motor mount bracket to a 99-00 SI and the rear L bracket to 99-00SI?

 

yes i changed all of them, i remember i had a problem with them.

 

Did you put the shifter in wrong, make sure you have the bend facing towards the back of the car.

 

make sure the b16 linkage is from a 99-00.

are you sure its not a gsr short shifter? sound like a short shifter to me
