Default swap issues

Ok I know the topic of vibrations has been extensively covered, and I just spent half an hour looking thru search results. But nobody mentioned anything about noise. I swapped an h22 into a 92 vx using hasport mts, dss axles w/ lude intermed. There is a pretty severe vibration which seems to get worse the faster I go. It is accompanied by a knocking noise. seems to be coming from the pass. side. it feels and sounds kinda like I have a flat tire, it scares the **** out of me. a certain jackass (my brother) hit the end of the axle pretty damn hard with a hammer trying to get it into the trans. Could he have destroyed a cv joint that easily?
Also, it feels like my secondary butterflies are not opening. Can I just move the wire from A20 to A17 and splice the black wire from the IAB to the yellow and black 12V power line, like my friend did with his GSR? Im kinda skeptical since Im using a lude ECU and hes using a GSR one.
Finally, my fuel cut off at 7000RPM. WTF is that about. Im using the VX gauges, so Im thinking they might not be accurate? that doesnt seem very likely... I remember when had my lude fuel didnt cut off until just over 8000RPM. if I was in 'limp mode' I wouldnt be able to rev it to 7000, right?

I want to blow the fvcking car up, its such a little *****. thanks for your time

Default Re: swap issues (dreamer)

For the Axle problem there was a post a few days ago about H22 axles and them binding up because of suspension setup and axle choice. Might wanna try finding that. It sounds to me like that may be your issue so hook us up with your suspension info, ride height and setup and such as well as axle choice.

thanks for the reply. im using tokico blues with GC coilover sleeves (blah). since the motor already has clearance issues, i left the ride height pretty close to stock - no significant drop. axles are DSS stage 3. another thing I should mention is I installed a brake kit from fastbrakes.com
