swap advice or help needed...
hey guys, im wonderin if i should have my swap done or try and do it with some friends? everyone always says its better to do it yourself and i really wanna try that but i got like zero tools, literally.. no garage and no experience. (also a dx) although honda-tech has helped me out with every question ive ever had, you guys are great. so im stuck. ive talked to swapshop racing and hookups out here in so cal and they both basically said about 2300-2400 for labor and everything drop off and pick up. the do- it -yourself route, i can get the swap from hmotorsonline$1150 and i can get some linkage and mounts for $250 and i dont know how much all that misc stuff comes up too cause i know i prolly need a harness and a si map sensor too how much would i really save? so any advice or some major help is appreciated, sorry for the short story, thanks in advance. i posted this in the ef section as well

They want close to $1000 in labor. I would go to Sears and buy a 240-ish piece hand tool set and a engine hoist and the misc. tools( 32mm socket, pry bars, etc.). The bill will be like $500 (high estimate). They are yours for life and all the another projects on your car. you will save around $200-$400 for the swap. But you have the tool to save you more money on future repairs! You are putting a B16a into a EF, right? I have all the info on the DX to SiR wiring if you want it. Just PM me with your E-mail.
