stupid question
I purchased a 00 b20z longblock about a month and a half ago. I was planning to swap it into my car asap but it took about a month to find a GSR tranny for it. Ive ran into some financial trouble and wont be able to complete the swap for another couple months until I get things straightened up. My question is how can I keep deposits or sludge from forming inside the motor until I swap it?

Re: stupid question (POS Hatchback)
pull the plugs and drool some oil in there, then turn the engine over manually and slowly and do this about once a day.

maybe once a month if your keen!
anyways, unless the engine has been washed or cleaned, teh residual oil will protect it...

Re: stupid question (tinkerbell)
mine sat for 4 months before it went in
and probably about a year+ since the last time it was started
no problem turning it over.
as long as the engine isnt dry dont worry. it only needs a thin layer of oil to protect it.
