Default Strange Engine code

Ok all the past codes I have had have come on and stayed on. Once they are there I can jump the ecu and find whats wrong and fix it. Now I am getting a code. Not there when I start the car, comes on after round 5 minutes. Goes off when I turn the car back on. Try to jump the ecu and I get no code at all.

Things I just did:

Removed secondaries assembly and map sensor to install mc/booster and prop valve

Disconnected header to fix rusty flange.

Whats going on?

Chances are that it is an O2 sensor code. To check it, just jump the ECU and drive it around untill the code comes up.

So if I jump the ecu it should just start flashing the code while Im driving? I didnt think that was how it worked?

yeah jump the service connector and it'll always blink. doesn't matter if you're driving or not.

Must not have used a decent paperclip. Tried it and got nothing no code or anything. Ive done it before and of course got the code and all. Correct me if Im wrong: In the past when I ve had a code (knock sensor etc. Once the ecu saw the problem the light stayed on til I fixed it and reset the ecu. This code just comes on and goes off. Whats going on? I wish my friend that pulled all the wires out of the O2 sensor connector wasnt out of town so I could make him crawl under there and fix it. Ive been under my car enough lately.

Anyone have proper harness to sensor wire colors etc for O2 sensor.

Didnt go on at first so I figured he put them back in there right.
