Splicing PR3 2nd o2 sensor wire into first?

I'm running a PR3 ecu on my lS/vtec. Can I just splice into the first o2 sensor wire for the second o2 connection and just run one sensor?
Remember this ECU is obd-0 so it's not a pre and post cat o2 sensor issue. The ECU originally read o2 on two pairs of cylinders separately.
PS I'm not using a PR3 manifold, the o2 sensor bung is positioned so that it reads exhaust gases collected from all four cylinders.

I dont think it will work like that. The first o2 sensor has to heat up first before the 2nd one to get a correct reading...you can get your ecu re-programmed to remove the 2nd o2 sensor.

teh PR3 adjusts the mixtures on PAIRED cylinders...
do a search on this there is heaps of info here...

i may be totally wrong here but i have heard that it will work because the o2 sensor that we are using is the 4 wire one with the self heater.. im in the same boat...oh and there was a post on this topic showing how to wire erythang up...
i'll see if i can find it...

ahh its amazing what searching the recent+ARCHIVED topics will bring up...
let me know how this works for you because im debating on swapping my sir II exhaust mani for an sir I manifold that uses the dual o2 sensors
this one too https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=334989

yes but only if the sensor can read the gasses from all 4 cyliners not just a pair. it won;t be exact like i u were running both sensors but u can do it that way. i have a pwo ecu wich basicly the same ecu and only have one o2 sensor in my down pipe. their was no way i was ganna cut wholes in my cast iron maifold just to install some o2 sensors. just check your plugs everyonce in a while and youll be fine.
i believe the ecu only uses the 2 sensors in closed loop mode and i belive when u drive at wot it goes to open loop so it won;t really matter.
hope this helps

if you 'split' a single O2 sensor signal into two seperate signals, the signal is halved.
you cant have one signal turn into two of the same size - it is straight physics that one.
that is why when people do the split, and run two signals from one sensor, the ECU makes the car run bad, and stuttering etc
you HAVE to run two sensors to get two signals.
you can run two heated ones, or two un-heated ones. simple.
