Default Speedometer is AWALL

My speedometer has recently been going crazy in my 93 civic ex. At first it would jump around from like 0 to 130 back and forth, now it works occasionally but when it doesn't the check engine light comes on. I'm thinking the sensors on the tranny any ideas?

I had that same problem a while ago and it turned out to be the speed sensor on the tranny. Change that and you'll be fine.

There should also be an ALT/VSS fuse under your dash. I would check that too.
