Default Something wrong with my swap?

I am done with swapping a b18b into a 99 civic lx and I ran a buddy of mine with a 98 hatch with cai and a 5zigen catback. I only smote him by like two car lengths at most. I have no cat on my lx, but I am using the stock lx exhaust. Does the back pressure make that much difference? Guess I expected a little more from the lil b18b. Oh well, guess I'll have to go turbo .

Sorry for the confusion. My question was, with a b18b shouldn't i be beating my friend (with the dx hatch) by more than two car lengths by 70mph? Also the other question i had was, how bad is using the stock civic lx exhaust with my b18b swap is. Will the back pressure rob a lot of the power? Hope thats more understandable. Thanks.

Your motor and car are heavier than his. Ive seen a 96 dx hatch with intake and exhaust run a 15.6. It all depends on driver and weight of the car in this situation. Two cars sounds about right to me.
