Default someone please help!!

ok so for some reason my car wont keep a charge it has a new alternator and a bettery but it still dies out after awhile, its a obd1 ls into a 2000 civic???
please let me know this is frustrating.thanks

start the car up and unhook the batt... and see if it dies

and did you check the fuse under the hood

you can always use a voltmeter on the battery while the car is off and running to see if its charging.... check the connections on the back of the the alt....

ya i checked the battery fuse under the hood it looked fine also..???the car doesnt die out when i un plug the battery but the alt and battery are new i just put them in???but when i turn the lights and stuff on then thats when the rpm stops working and the radio gets twacked out..also my speedometer stopped working when all this started happening

try and hook up just the black/yellow wire on the alt to a key on 12v and see if it run with the batt unhook

or take a voltage meter and see if the black/yellow on the alt is getting 12v when the key is on
