Default Skunked

Skunked is hella cool- he helped me with my swap a couple months ago and I have yet to really thank him. I figured a night at a tittay bar would suffice. Anyways, I do have a question and I don't want to give myself a bad rep by seeming really ignorant but I'll lay them on-
We put an H22a in my teg and had some crazy *** fun yO! Current mods are pretty basic, I/H/E Type S cams, FPR, rail, hondata S200 and I am going to be getting cam gears. Someday H2B (thank you Seth) I am planning on making a trip to the dyno on Friday night but I am a little hesitant because it is pretty far away and I don't know if I should
a.) Drive a 100 miles to get a baserun in to see where I am at (maybe cost about $150 with gas and food and stuff)
b.) Save the money and buy a decent header first right now I have a DC which is a little banged up.
c.) Install cam gears before go for a couple for ponies but more dyno time
d.) Figure out Hondata and street tune it for the time being (I'd have to buy Wideband because I don't have one)
I want to make a fun trip on Friday down there but am I wasting time and money? I already know Mat's opinion on this but I wanted some feeback from some other dudes who know a lot more than me. I know I have a lot to learn so please don't flame.

P.S. - I love you Mat

I left an 18 pack for ya

Back on topic, I think the cam gears+ a tune is ideal.

if you spend money on header now, in the future your goin to have to get ANOTHER one..The road trip does sound fun..But why is your tuner/dyno guy so far away?

Because the guy I used to work for just lost his dyno last week, and the only other guy in Sac who has a dyno isn't going to touch my car.

i mean is saving up for an h2b an option?...

or are you looking to make a move now?

the cam gears and the ride to the tuner would work now and in the long run, but it would put the h2b a little while

Yes it is an option, I am not a baller by any means but I could just pay for it now but I don't want to. I figured putting my savings into an IRA or investing it somewhere other than my car, pizza and beer would be a good idea I look at money in a poor mans way really, If I've got it why not spend it? I am changing my ways so that I don't end up on the street when I retire

Just tune. You dont need a race header to drive it.
