Shift linkage H22
I am in the middle of putting my H22 into my 97 hatch and the site I was looking at pics of where to cut for the linkage to go through is down does anyone have pics or can atleast tell me where is the best place to cut. Also I put the shifter in the car just messing around today and do you have to move it forward any or leave it were the other one was and do you have to cut a hole so it will sit plush.. I swear I new all this until I started the swap and now I can not remember anything, Go figurre.
Ok, my friend. Had to read your post several times.
please use sentances. it's hard to read when it's all once sentance.
as for your question....here is a picture. sorry of the quality.
those are the drilled holes in my car. You will need to enlarge the the whole where the original shifter was so the shifter assembly can lay flat on the chassis. Then drill holes so you can bolt it down.
as for the front one, make a 3x4" hole so you can pull the shifters thru and also bolt those in securely so the cables do not move around at all.
i hope that helps.
