Default which setup would you choose??

need to make a decision. which setup and why???

1) d15b2 block with just arp rod bolts, port n polished y8 head with portmatched im,tb, cam, cam-gear,obd0- 1conversion,chipped p28 ecu, dc sports 4-1 header, brand new stock clutch and flywheel until next summer then upgrade to much better clutch.

2)d15b2 block balanced with arp rod bolts stock y8 head, zex or crower cam and springs, ACT HD clutch with xact 8.5 flywheel, dc sports 4-1 header, odb0-1 conversion with chipped p28.

If I can make good power with a chipped obd0 ecu I will keep it but from research and reading post on this board and other boards I should go obd1?

each setup will run close to 2 grand which is my limit, already started saving for the project, funds is half way there

No get a b-series stuff, I'm keepin the d-series

i know you said no b series

but none of the above.

why spend 2000$ building a d16 to get the power of a b16?
