sensor broken
okay got a h22a sitting in my shop with a broken throttle body sensor, you know the one that sits right behind da throttle body, I replaced it with my d16 throttle body sensor, will this work or will i have problems? cause it matches right up to the plug...

Re: sensor broken (Cx Sir II)
Not absolute but if it fits it probably works I've transfered all sorts of small parts between motors and if they fit they worked but I've never messed with a h22 so try it if it does then good if it doesn't it's not going to be a pain to replace with the correct unit.

Re: sensor broken (FleXingMyEK)
if it mounts properly and it reads between 0.5v closed and 4.5-5v wide open then yes. I think all honda throttle sensors are universal.

Re: sensor broken (95c1v1cs1)
I know that the VTEC solenoid is universal. I'm not certain about the temp sensor but I imagine it is as well. Honda is very conservative that way. Why design several different parts for the same function. It makes more sense to design the block / head / TB / whatever, around universal sensor designs.
