S1 Trans?

Is this trans from the title a close gear ratio........Specs? Good Tranny?

Depends if it's a JDM or USDM S1. The JDM model has a very close ratio, good for acceleration, bad for gas mileage. Cruising at highway speed, you'll be at 3500+ rpms or so.

The trans is a JDM..... So whats it from... The Sedan and Hatch SIR? Not the REX?!

I believe that S1's come from Integra XSi's. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

correct, wasnt offered w/ lsd either.

Great tranny for around town.

Highway Nightmare is an understatement.

ls 5th can fix all that, 4th to 5th will lose a good bit of ur rpms thou....

Its a must if u plan on taking long trips or do a lot of interstate driving.
