Icon5 Replacement Dizzy Problems

I have an '88 CRX Si w/ a jdm H23A swap. Its been driving great for a while till it just died on me driving down the street. I lost spark so I got a new distributor. The OEM distributor had the model # TD94U stamped into it so I purchased this distributor from speedy racer that had the same model #. I got the new distributor in with no problem, they looked pretty much identical but when I started up the car I lost RPM on my cluster and giving it a small throttle tap gave a bit more crackle and pop then I used to have.

I compared the two distributors and saw the wiring colors and grommets were slightly different. I've taken a few photos to better show the differences, note the blue wire on the dizzy harness doesn't match the blue wire on the car harness. And from what I understand the blue wire is what is responsible for RPM. If anyone has a different distributor part number to recommend or if I should try to swap igniter units between the old and new dizzy let me know. Thanks!
