Default Removing Shifting Cables

I need to know how you can remove the shifting cables from a 92 accord. I am doing an H22a swap in my eg. Here's what I 'v done so far.

1) disconnected the cables from the tranny.
2) disconnect the bracket right next to the cat converter.
3) took out the shifter and assembly.

All thats left is where the cables run through floor and to the tranny. I need know how to get the cables through the floor. The holes are much to small for cables the slide right through. Its going to take some disasembling of the cables or some major cutting.
