Default radiator help

Ok i just swaped my h22 into a 95 civic coupe.....I was having a lot of problems with my cooling system and my radiator spraying coolant everywhere. I wasn't sure what the problem was and after testing several things i put a new radiator cap on. For the most part it fixed the problem. However the last couple days have been extremely hot here in virginia(heat index 115) the car doesnt overheat I just notice that it does loose a little coolant here and there. I have a del sol vtec radiator. The only thing i can think of right now is that i haven't gotten a themostat yet for it and i have taken it completely out of the car. has anyone had any similar problems like this and do you think that having no thermostat could be the cause of my problem? Also does anyone think that the stock radiator cap cannot with stand the extra pressure of the h22 and i just need to upgrade. Thanks in advance.
