Quick questions about OBD1 engine into OBD0 car!
Alright guys, this is my first time swapping an obd1 engine into an obd0 car. I have some questions...
First off, we've already purchased the obd0-1 conversion harness so that we can use the P06 (obd1 DX) ecu. OK my question is......What harness do i use on the actual engine?
Do i use the CRX HF harness (obd0) on the OBD1 engine? Or do i use the DX engine harness (obd1).
If i use the DX harness, how do i get it to fit at the shock tower? I know the connections are different.
If i use the HF harness, do all of the sensors and plugs go in the same on the OBD1 engine?
Also, for the ECU pigtail, do i wire the bare wires to the firewall side of the shock tower connections?
Thanx for some input.

Use your old CRX harness. If it is HF then your fine, if you have a DX harness get ready to convert to Multi point1

Take a while to change the plugs over, i wouldn't do it

NO, you'lll have to change out the injector clips, dizzy plugs, convert your HF harness to 4 wire o2 plugs

thats up to you, i personally make all the wires connect to a new shock tower plug set and make a sub harness from the new wires. In your case since it seems like your putting in a DX motor you'll just have to add the 4 wire o2 in. or if your going to go VTEC then you'll have to add 3-4 wires based on your motor
Thanx for some input.
