Default question about motor mount...

If I am putting in a b16a into a 96 civic coupe... I would retain the existing driver side uppper motor mount from the stock sohc motor correct? OR would I need to purchase the one made for the 99-00 civic si? A simple yes or no would do. Thanks.

You will need the driver's side motor mount bracket (what bolts to the block) from a 99-00 Civic Si then reuse your stock engine mount.

I guess I wasn't too clear.. I'm not talkin about the lower ac bracket torque mount. I'm talking about the upper driver side mount.. the one with the oil inside of it..

So am I . I said you need the driver's side motor mount bracket from a 99-00 Si, meaning the upper one on the timing belt side that mounts to the block.

you also need to use the entire rear motor mount from the 99-00 SI or the bolt holes wont line up did the same swap in a 96 in b16 pwrd ek car he also did what vtecvillian said and used the entire 96 driverside mount good luck with it the rear mount can be bought from honda for about 30-50 bucks
