Default Q: CKF sensor

In the Hybrid tutorials, the plugs were spliced in. Since I'm cracking my B18B anyways, can't I just switch my sensor from my D16? I guess I'll see if they compatible when I open up the D16Y8 in a few hours.

TIA

EDIT: the swap is 99 B18B into a 99 Civic EX
