Problems with starting the car. SOLVED, DON'T REPLY
Okay I have been working on my car all day, and I have read almost every post there is on archives considering distributors and none has answered my question so far.
These are the symptoms.
At first the rev's were fluttering.
Then yesterday my car would start, then shut off, then cease to starting again.
When I pull off the distributor and take it apart, then put it back on, the car will start for a second, then die. Then cease to start again.
It is wierd because two days ago I took off the distributor, cleaned all contacts and put it back together. The car was running perfectly for 2 days, no stuttering or shutting off.
After the car shuts off, and I put in the key and turn it before ignition, there's a weird buzzing noise coming from under the steering wheel, in back of the hood release in the car. I think it's a brown plug that goes into something.
Im almost 100% sure its the distributor thats gone bad I guess. Just looking for confirmation before I go about spending the money on one..
Specs:
JDM b16 ob1 in a 95 CX
Thanks H-T..
SOLVED: Loose Ground by Thermostat
