my jdm b18c1 engine is having starting problems. today, i turned it out and after about 3-4 seconds it cut off. tried to start it again and it kept rolling over. thru on jumpers and it started back up. this is my first problem with my swap. i also had a similiar problem with the old engine in my civic. but this is the first time its ever turned off then turned back off just like that. im not sure how to fix this problem, battery, starter, or the alternator? thanks for your help

 

A few things to check:

- Check that your timing is set properly
- Jump the test harness to see if the ECU has stored any codes
- Check/test battery
- Check/test alternator and starter
- Check/test ignition switch
