prelude engine in a 93 civic??
is it possibe without too muck work to put a prelude engine in a 93 civic coupe? If it is possible is it just a strait up swap or do i need some special mounting kit or something and how much will it run me?
http://www.hasport.com/ for a mount kit and custom axles.. Get a 92-95 Prelude engine and the wiring harness will plug up. You'll just have to add the wires for VTEC, knock sensor, IAB, EGR, and add an injector resistor box.
I've been researching this topic....since i'm buying an EG soon.....h22 installed here is 4500. That's engine +installation. But here's what I can't decide. I know I'm going to have to upgrade the suspension a bit. But the motor is gonna be FAST stock.
Or I can get a GSR motor. Suspension mods probably aren't a must....but I'll probably spending the money on the engine in order to be as quick as the h22.
