Default power door conversion

I have a 96 cx hatch and i currently have complete 99 power doors. if i get a 96-98 ex floor harness, will everything on the harnesses hook up? or would i need a 99-00 floor harness?

p.s. if i have to use the 99-00 floor harness, i will change all my harnesses to 99-00.

No, just use the 96-98 floor harness it will be fine to hook up to the 99 doors.
You are right though, if you try to use the 99-00 harness you will pretty much have to change every single harness in the car. Which will be a nightmare. Not worth it, and not necessary.
You will be happy with the door conversion though, it's awesome.

i did this in my 92 hatch...even though it is an eg...it should be the same...when you put the new floor harness in place...all the plugs that the floor harness connects to are going to have to be re-pinned

In an EK conversion there is absolutely no repinning needed, just get the EX floor harness and lay it in there it plugs up to everything and you're done. You need a power window relay which I got mine for $5 or so at the dealer. It also plugs right into an empty slot in your fuse panel. It's really pretty easy to do this conversion.
