Default poor mans r

hey so my ek coupe got stolen a couple weeks back.. time for a eg hatch.

i might pick one up off craigslist with a b16a1 and i want to do a poor mans r swap, all i need is a gsr block,itr cams right?

and could i do the blockswap myself or should i pay to have somone do it?

Before you do any of that, head to the hybrid forum, and they can probably help you out.

you don't think an eg hatch would be just as susceptible to theft? GL either way.

a poor man's type-r engine is a P72 block (gs-r/type R block), a PR3 head (b16/b18c5 head), high compression pistons, type-r cams, etc...

if this is your first swap, i'd recommend having a friend who's done a swap help you.
