i just finished my swap. a 97 jdm integra type r engine into my 94 vx hatch. everything went smooth except for the alternator. there are four wires of various colors and that one big wire. oh ...by the way.. im using the vx harness. the connector for the alternators are different for the two harnesses so i spliced the b18 alternator connector on to the vx harness. but the thing is.. i kinda guessed about the color matching on the four wires. now.. my car just died. and the alternator does not seem to be charging the battery and the alternator seems to be messing with my timing too. i push the gas pedal and nothing happens, then it will rev a bit, then nothing again.does anybody know how to match up the wires on the alternator? can anybody tell me what color matches to what? i would REALLY be gratefull. cuz right now i am royaly f*cked. this car is my daily driver. please help.
