Please Help!!!!!
I have a B16a motor that i dropped in my 89 crx si, The problem i am having is that running my 4 new wires. All of the wiring diagrams say that such and such wires go here on the computer the only problem i am having is the color of the wires that the diagrams show are totally differnt then the wires in my harness.,.Does this matter? Or should i just run the wires to the proper pin in the computer? Also can i splice the two O2 sensor's together under the hood? Or do i need to run a wire to the computer. The knock sensor is missing from my motor,.Do i need to use the knock sensor? Someone told me that I don't really need to run my knock sensor. Is this true? Will it hurt anything.
Thanks
Thanks

Yes you will need to run the wires from the sensors directly to the proper ECU pinouts. Unlike the 92+ cars that usually have extra wires embedded in the harness that can be used, the EF's aren't that fortunate.

No, the ECU has pinouts for both O2 sensors and you will have to wire each accordingly.

Assuming that you are using a PW0 or PR3 ECU, you MUST wire up the Knock sensor. Whoever told you that you don't need it, well they are wrong unless the ECU you are using doesn't look for one. Without it, you will have a constant CEL.

poor EF's everythings made so hard.
the only harm that will be done by not having a knock is to your mind by having the constant glare of the damned CEL if you're on a budget (knocks can be expensive) you could skip it for now. don't run FI without it though.
