All Honda blocks use the same size oil filter..... 3593A (Fram's part number).

Not true. My friend's 03 Civic Si uses a different one.

Nope... K-series motor is still the same pattern, just smaller looking in size (I have a K20A Type S block sitting right here, and a JDM H22 motor as well... both have the same Hamp oil filter).

hmmm... When I bought my 95 Hatch from my friend, he included 3 filters and 10 quarts of Mobil 1, and told me he couldn't use them (in his 03 Si).... Next time I'll do my own homework.

Here you go. Just snapped those picts real quick. FYI, H22 & B16/B18 use the same size oil filters, regardless if it's the fat one (like a FRAM 3593A) or the thin HAMP-style one like the picts above. Just some good additional info for yah

Here's a REALLY lame question. I picked up an oil filter from honda the other day and they included a washer with it. It obviously has nothing to do with the filter. I'm assuming it's for the oil pan drain plug, but I've never been given a washer with the filter before. Is that normal?
