Default obd2a-obd2b? difference in harnesses

someone on here is selling a obd2 wiring harness for a gsr motor into a 96 civic and i have a 99 and i was wondering if there was a difference between the wireing or is it just in the ecu.

96-98 Civic's are OBD2A
99-00 Civic's are OBD2B

There is a difference on the plug styles at the ECU side of the engine harness and the ECU pinouts are also different. Since you have a 99 Civic, you can only use a 99-00 Civic engine harness.
