Default obd0 to obd1?

ok, heres the story. i have a 91 integra that im going to buy an obd1 chassis harness for. and since im cheap, teh cheapest xsi b16a dropout on password is 1099.00 but its obd0. if you use an obd1 engine harness is it the same thing as the obd0 harness, what i mean is if i use the obd1 harness on the motor, will it work? i kno that there is no difference in the head, besides vtec, but whats different on the block?

91 integra with 93 integra chassis harness and maybe motor harness...

thanx for the info,
justin

there is a difference bertween the 2 harnesses. im not sure what the diff is in the block i dont believe any but you would need obd1 injectors a distributor from obd1 b16 or b18c and an ecu to go with your obd1 harness. other than that i think everything will plug right in.

OBD1 injectors can run on any ecu providing the proper setup is done to the resistor box wiring. Your best bet is to run the OBD0 engine harnes and if you want to go to OBD1, get an OBD0-1 harness. It's gonna be a pain in the butt to do yourself judging your wiring skills and will cost way more to have someone do it.

Lol. I know a little. You will want to reuse your stock engine harness and use the OBD1 harness for plugs, etc.

Some of the pre-obd (OBd0) connectors will not match on the OBD1 engine....distributor, injectors, 4 wire O2 sensor, etc. You can use your OBD1 engine harness to change plugs. My instructions cover most of it to make it simple.
