o2 sensor problems?
its a 92 hatch. b20z with Ls computer, manifold, injectors,obd1. its been throwing the o2 code(1).i installed a new bosch universal sensor. ran fine for three days. then it threw the code again.need suggestions.
First check your wiring. Usually aftermarket o2 have 2white 1black 1 grey. The 2 blackwires on your car go to the 2 whitewires on o2 the green on your car to grey on o2 and the white on your car to black on o2 sensor. If not the antiseize will destroy the sensor and if your car is to low and you hit your hedder on something that will take out the heater circuit pretty easy.
Only if it drips down too much past the threads. If you put too much it can happen. So dont smear the antiseize around too much. That why they give you the plastic ring already with anti seize. Be careful.
i rewired my mistakes, from the info you posted. and rewired the ground on the A/F gauge for safe measures. you wouldn't happen to know where the stock location for the obd1 LS is located? thanks again
